Efteling park
Efteling park is a fantasy theme park located in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands. It is the largest park in the country and one of the oldest in the world, because it is established in 1952. It attracts young and old people with its fairytale. One day is not enough in this world of wonders and magic. We have only one day but the park offers accommodation in a hotel and houses, so you can book your stay in advance and take maximum of enjoying the fairytale in which you will immerse yourself.
Getting to the park can be done from many cities. We travelled from Rotterdam, so you can catch the train to Tilburg and after that a bus 300, 301, 801. One line is direct, the other two have several stops. The distance is not much. Almost imperceptibly you will get to Efteling park looking at the picturesque landscape of this amazing country.
You must have a ticket, purchased in advanced, at a cost of 45 euro. It gives you an opportunity to enter every attraction you want. Believe me, the are many! The only thing that is not so pleasant is waiting in queue in front of most entertainments, but there is an app which you can download from Efteling website. It shows how long you will wait in every attraction in real time.
Do not bother about the food, you can not be hungry, because there is a variety of places to eat. The chips on a stick attracts us because of its difference and taste.
The attractions themselves can be viewed in advance from the site, so you can mark which of them suits yourself best. We cannot recommend because all they are very interesting, fun and cheerful. But you should definitely see the forest of fairytale. It recreates 30 famous tales such as Cinderella, Rapunzel, The Little Red Riding Hood and others. You can read the story from the Efteling site but you can do that in front of the territory of every tale in the forest because there is a wonderful, large, old book to read there. It is even more interesting if you have downloaded the Fairytale Quiz Tour for young and old. You must pay attention to the very small details to answer the questions. Enjoy the experience!

The garbage bins in the park are remarkable. They are all sorts of open-mounted figures telling you how hungry they are. When you throw your waste in them, they make specific sounds.
ATMs located in the park are another interesting feature. They are fairy boxes with magic sticks next to them. If you rub them, magic is unlocked, a window with coins opens and wonderful music begins to sound.
